Description
Another copy of the same painting by Willem Claesz Heda, this time in color. I realize the pointlessness of using this painting as a color study, as it is pretty much all browns and yellows (from the book I used, at least) but my teacher picked it out for me, only to tell me later on that it was a bad choice and I should have chosen a different painting.. grrr. And I couldn't get a good picture of it, so it's all blurry. Actually, I don't really have anything good to say about this painting at all. It just oozes negativity..

Well I like this one...your attention to detail is amazing.
I know that feeling though. I was staring at something on the floor and imagining which paints I would mix if I were to paint it, and suddenly I just felt really icky, like Zhi was suddenly going to be there and tell me I was wrong...and I wasn't even painting!
